The problem
Most browser golf games fake the ball. They tween a sprite to a hole. I wanted the other kind: a shot that flies, bounces, and rolls because the physics said so — and a scorecard that actually cares.
What I did
- 01Built a nine-hole round with real flight, bounce, and roll. Pull back to swing. Drag sideways to aim. Gravity is the referee.
- 02Gave the round a clubhouse: hole-by-hole pars, a living scorecard, and scores that load like a Saturday morning board.
- 03Shipped it to a URL. A golf game you can play is a different argument than a golf game you can describe.
Outcome
Live at par.leespringer.co. Proof that the same loop — mechanics, feel, a scoreboard people will actually use — works for a weekend product as well as a national platform.
